The theme for this mission trip to two
cities in Colombia was Romans 2:4–”It’s
His kindness that leads to repentance (to
change the way we think). It started at
the gate in Houston. Waiting, Sylvia
walks by, one of the team members gets
a word for her, they prayed for her
wounded heart, led her to the Lord, then
found she lives in the 2nd city we were
going to. She came into the Kingdom,
then practiced it as she came to the
meetings, praying for the sick like we showed her. BTW, she also received a lot of physical
healing herself.

They were at the Pastors/Leaders meeting, looking bored. Two sisters, 18 & 21. As ministry time was winding down, my translator and I went to them. God was all over them. Seems they weren’t saved, and we never did really find out why or how they were at the meetings. But, God didn’t care, He had a divine set-up for them. They came back to the other
meetings there, and Wednesday night were praying for the sick — with results!

Anatomy of a healing: First night in the 2nd
city, there was Julie in a neck brace. She had
been in a motorcycle accident with a taxi. Lots
of pain and bruising, and very limited mobility.
And she was sitting right in front of me as I got
up to speak. Power of the testimony — the story
of the young man in Colombia last October (see
report) whose broken hand got totally healed –
and he was right on the front row. A God set-up.
I felt like we were to demonstrate tag-team praying
during the message. I told the testimony, Carol had
her renounce any spirit of trauma, another of the team
felt the neck muscles moving into place as she prayed,
and another had her forgive the taxi driver who had
caused the accident. After that I saw her waving her hands to indicate “no more pain.”
Why? Why would God save and heal these people? Because he’s a good God. He’s gooder than we think, so we need to change the way we think. It’s his kindness that will cause us to change the way we think.
INFLUENTIAL CHURCH–TV MINISTRY–CATCHES FIRE!
A team of 15, along with Carol and me, poured into this very influential church 3 nights and 1 morning of “miracle meetings.” Our hope is always that “they get what we’re trying to leave behind.” After we left to go on to the other churches, we learned the regular Sunday night service had been turned over to a young preacher they are grooming–the one I had been pouring into and who had been watching intently all I did. He told me later he had preached on healing and then went for it. He had them stand, prayed over them and many were healed. I asked him if he had ever done this before. “No, I just did what I saw you do.” Then the pastors prayed for the sick after the service, and 3 who came to him were all healed. And even better–he talked to his sister earlier in the day. She’s in the US, was at a hospital because of an abscessed tooth, lots of swelling and pain. He prayed over the phone, declared healing and she said “If I’m healed, I’m going home.” That night she called him back to say there was no swelling or pain!! The electronic airwaves are like the handkerchiefs of Paul’s days. And if that’s not enough, they told us they were streaming the meetings on the internet. One of our team members had her husband watching back in Illinois. As he watched, all his back pain left! C’mon!!
HEALING OF STROKE VICTIM CAPS OFF MISSIONS TRIP
The older man had a stroke three months before. He couldn’t communicate well and the right side of the body was partly paralyzed. But the “Glory” came down and his daughter and son-in-law both testified alongside him “Everything was different.” He was healed, with full mobility and communication skills back!! He even ran for us.
METAL DISAPPEARS IN BAPTIST PASTOR!
A Baptist Pastor with metal in his back came to the meetings, and you could tell this was all new to him. His mobility was so restricted he couldn’t even begin to bend backwards, and when he bent even the slightest forward, he was immediately in pain. I had told the story of the young man in our recent “Angels & Miracles” Conference in Casper, WY being healed with metal in his back, and he took hold of the testimony. After hearing the Lord say in my spirit “dip him 7 times,” I kept praying for him and each time he got back up, he had less pain and more mobility. He kept coming back to the meetings for the next several days, completely healed — and with more mobility!!
TEAM MEMBER “CATCHES IT”
To cap it all off, one of our team members heard how I was inspired and challenged when I heard Randy Clark tell about his conversation with Bill Johnson about people’s bodies being healed and mobility returning, even when they had metal in them. Just as he had decided to “go for it,” I did too. It worked for this team member too. He said “If Bill Johnson and Randy Clark and Bill Dew can see this happen, so can I.” Sure enough, a person walked up with pain, limited mobility, and metal. He believed for it, and the person walked away totally pain free and full mobility restored!! Now, that’s a great mission trip.
“Angels & Miracles” Conference, Casper, WY — March 25–28, 2010
Oil field accident a year ago. Constant pain, living on pain killers. Couldn’t walk, in bed most of the time. Finally, an operation in November. Still pain, in bed, no work, couldn’t walk. They put metal brackets around a core piece filled with concrete, held together with bolts to secure the spine — who could move with that. During prayer Thursday night, we went after metal dissolving or becoming flexible, because we’ve seen it happen in our meetings. He felt heat up and down his spine and did something he couldn’t even imagine — he ran! No pain, full mobility. There’s even more to the story in the next video.
Gary returned Friday night to testify. When he went home, the enemy brought some pain back and began lying, saying he didn’t really get healed. He bought it for a moment, then rebuked it, and said “I was catapulted into feeling better than before the accident.” At Friday’s physical therapy session, after 10 minutes they told him they could find nothing wrong, and discharged him — amazing considering they thought he would need a year of therapy. He starts work April 1st. Oh, and his wife gave her life to the Lord Sunday morning!! C’mon!!
The following is a testimony from two emails we received after the “Angels & Miracles” Conference we recently held at Heartland Assembly of God in Ankeny, IA, one to us and one to the church. We’re so blessed by the honesty of this testimony, of a life transformed. It’s long — but so worth the read.
When my father told me that he had purchased tickets for this conference, guys, I was very skeptical. I knew he had been to Brazil with a team of folks and Gary and Kathi. As he began to be more open about his experiences, his language started to change. Never a conversation without mentioning things like, “God’s hand” or “He is so amazing even in our trials” or “He is alive today the same as He was in the Bible doing the same miracles and wonders”. I honestly thought one of two things…it was a phase, or he had just lost his mind as he was getting older.
He had sent me the book about the Azusa Street Revival, and for some reason I decided to read it…It took me three weeks to read it, because I googled every name, place, date and situation to find out if there was documentation outside of this book that these things really happened. Low and behold, it was historical fact…documented in newspapers and the media of the time. (which I found interesting, because none of the things you teach and experience have a snowball chance of making the news today…unless its going to presented satirically or as some sort of farce…enter Bill Maher)
I told (my wife), I would go to the conference and attempt to do so with a cautious mind, and an open heart. I told her that he had purchased tickets for us both, I would like her to come. …… She said she would go Thursday night, maybe all day Friday depending on how she “felt” and would not be going on Saturday…I said, “Cool”.
We left the Thursday night meeting, Bill, after you (according to your wife) had not given the “message” you wanted to give thinking you were ALL crazy…OR we had just witnessed one of the most amazing manifestations of the Spirit in one place we had ever seen.
Anyway, we decided to make sure that we showed up all day Friday and give it another shot. Carol’s approach began to make sense to me and that opened the flood gates of opportunity for the Spirit to have a chance. I began to listen more intently. (I like facts, history, and people’s experiences that verify those things) I was intrigued as the conference went on by the “Spirit Realm”. I began to understand some of those things as they pertained to my family, friends, career, and most importantly my narrow view of “Christian”. It began to sadden me that there was a God out there who had provided a part of His own Being in the Spirit for us and I had no relationship with God through His Spirit. I began to watch closely as I saw these people and decided to really let go and open my heart (because I learned it has a 40,000 neuron brain) to the Spirit. I actually began to “feel” the heat. I wanted to cry, but there was no way I was going to break down in front of all those people. I was amazed to hear (my wife) tell me the same thing.
There was no way we were going to miss Saturday!! I want you to know that your message, Bill & Carol, the honesty in which you gave it, the realness behind it, the conviction with which you knew it, and the verses you used to explain it were the most amazing mix of preaching, teaching, explaining I have been a part of…but watching it in action…seeing it was real, seeing people’s lives changed, seeing your comfort in the outwardly chaotic explosion of the Spirit is what touched me. I know (my wife’s) experience was similar, yet different because she is more emotional than I am.
I would be lying to you if I said that we were one of the fall down, get a pain in the side, screaming experiences that were there. I think we had a LIFE CHANGING REALIZATION IN THE TRUTH. We experienced something we know we have been missing and want nothing more than to get more and more of it. We have been spending our time in constant worship with music in the background at the house and in the vehicle…and praying, asking the Lord to bless us with His Spirit, and reveal His angels to our family for protection, healing, and knowledge. But more importantly, we are trying to get as much as we can so we can learn how to show others and share with them the Truth about what “Christian” really means…”And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” “They will know we are Christians by our love, one to another”
Throughout the weekend my heart was turned more and more, and my mind seemed to be catching up to it…it just made sense the way it was explained and the verses that were used to help us understand. My wife was touched in a way I’ve never seen, and I am now convinced that the rest of the churches are the crazy ones!!! Why wouldn’t we want to have a personal relationship with God? Why wouldn’t we want to talk to Him as our “papa” as the music guy with the goatee kept praying…why wouldn’t we want to pursue all the gifts He had for us? Why aren’t we?
The final straw for me was when I saw the children who go to that church so filled with the Spirit…it brought tears to my eyes as a father of 4 to see them love their God and their peers so completely and without judgment, but rather with support for one another and excitement and respect for their individual experiences with God. I have NEVER seen something like that and I all I can do is want more and more. My wife and I have decided to try services at (the) church not because of the speakers…they taught us and got us through (the) door, but because of the incredible love and relationship with God that was so real and unlike anything we have ever seen radiating from the youth of your church. I never have wanted what a 12 yr old boy has had before in my life, but when that young man got up and told of his time with Jesus it scared me in a good way…because it let me know I had been missing the boat for so long and he was already there…and THEN all the young ladies testimonies about their time with Jesus…WOW!! A true test of an environment are the lives of the children coming out of it…and the youth of Heartland are a true testament to the ministry they are receiving. Thank you for opening the conference to the public and not just your congregation, thank you for
opening your doors to us, and thank you for allowing us to see what a true relationship with God really looks like.
It was a great conference — this was just the icing on the cake!!

COMMENTS, CORRESPONDENCE, CONNECTION—GOD PUTS IT
TOGETHER
Connections, divine appointments. Interesting how the
Lord puts everything together. Tom Wymore (good name
for renewal, huh? Why more? Why? More!!), District
Supervisor for Foursquare in West Texas, came to the
Pastor’s Advance last May in Redding because of
reading Bill Johnson’s books. He’s getting ruined for
the “more” of God. He meets Rich Oliver, who has
championed renewal in Northern California for years
and hosts the “revival fire” internet service to track
positive reports of the renewal. Tom signs up to
receive these reports, and gets one we posted about
our trip to Japan in December. And a comment I made
caught his attention and he began to correspond with
us about having us come to speak to his district
people for a Healing Seminar. I had commented that we
saw the normally reserved Japanese powerfully touched
by the Holy Spirit, but that it couldn’t just stop
there—it has to be unto something. The bottom line
is—this move of God has to be about taking the power
and presence of God into the marketplace, to affect
the environment around us, that we should be armed and
dangerous 24/7, ready in season and out to prophesy,
heal, deliver and lead to salvation. So, Tom arranged
for his district people to come in from all over West
Texas—Lubbock, San Angelo, etc—many coming from 2+
hours away, to join some of his hungry people as we
taught on healing.
PICTURES AHEAD OF TIME!
Sometimes we have appointments, and that’s one of the
things that amazes and thrills me about God. I’ve been
asking to “see,” to get more detailed words of
knowledge or prophecy. During a prayer time the
previous Wednesday I got a picture of a dark haired
woman. I knew she had been in multiple auto accidents
and it had resulted in problems with her neck,
shoulders, headaches, back and hips. In another
picture, I had seen a dark haired woman who had
something attack her and it had resulted in constant
headaches. I also knew she had picked this up while
overseas. When we went into ministry time on Friday
night, I called out these two conditions. A woman
immediately answered the description on having been in
multiple accidents, having been rear-ended four times.
The other didn’t answer as quickly because I had said
“overseas” and she was thinking more of a foreign
country than Hawaii—but that’s where her headaches
started. God had set up this divine appointment to set
these two women free—and they both got free, no pain!!
And there was a benefit. The woman who had been in so
many accidents had become a masseuse doing physical
therapy and she was really good. And I became the
recipient of her ministry. Thaaaank youuuu
Gaaahhhhhhd!
GOD ANOINTS MANY!
And the fruit of these meetings. We taught on healing
and receiving words of knowledge for healing. People
stepped out and got words for the first time—and they
were accurate and people got healed when they prayed.
People who didn’t get a word or who didn’t respond to
a word got into groups of five. Many prayed for
someone for the first time and there was healing. Out
of this group of about 90 people, 30+ were healed in
fifteen minutes! And I got to get into the action.
All weekend long I had occasionally seen a young woman
with a big leg brace on one of her legs, but she
wasn’t always in the meetings because I think she was
looking after the children. But Sunday morning there
she was on the worship team. During ministry time I
found out she had to have a bone broken in her foot,
and she still had about two more weeks before they
would check on her healing. The problem was, she still
had pain, couldn’t put any weight on it, and now she
had a real need to be able to get around without pain
or restriction. But you see, as I looked at her, I
realized there was a desire in my heart to see her
healed. He cares about the desires of our heart. So,
we went after her healing—and within minutes it
manifested. She walked out of the church carrying this
big ‘ole brace—no pain, no restriction, and barefoot
because she only had one shoe. WOW.
REVIVAL—WEST TEXAS—AND IOWA—AND JAPAN—AND S. CA!
I’ve read that Texas is perhaps the next great place
of revival. I can tell you—God is alive and well in
West Texas, and there are people out there hungry and
contending for His presence! This weekend we go to
another really hungry place—Heartland Assembly Of God
in Ankeny, Iowa, pastored by Dave Olson. This is such
a great church and God is moving powerfully thru them,
particularly in healing in the church and now outside
of the four walls since we taught on that last
September. We will be teaching on Deliverance. Then
Tuesday we return to Osaka, Japan to teach a hungry
group on Sozo ministry. We return from there to
minister on Deliverance in Walnut, CA (a suburb of LA)
on the 21st-23rd. Blessings.
