OFF THE CHARTS MEETING AS MIRIAM GETS DRAMATICALLY HEALED
We have just finished training in the 3rd church of 7 we are to do training in here in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Monday night we had a “Randy Clark Brazil Type” meeting. By that I mean the power of God swept into the meeting during ministry time and it was over the top glorious, almost beyond description. I had taught on A Biblical Basis Of Healing and then we had entered into ministry time with words of knowledge for healing. We had a room jam packed with about 250+ people and more than 60 were healed in a couple of minutes when I gave some words of knowledge Carol and I had gotten. We did not do anything, the power just kind of fell. People were falling, shaking, Whole rows of people would fall out when I looked or gestured to them. We took several testimonies of people who had their condition more than 5 years. But to cap it all off, we had this dramatic healing. The pastor’s wife, Miriam, had fallen in the church a year ago and broke
her left wrist. She had to have pins put in it to stabilize it and it required months of physical therapy, which they had to stop due to lack of funds. She was left with an almost useless hand. She couldn’t grip anything, not even her cell phone. When I was praying over everyone for healing from the words, she started screaming, crying, and holding up her left
hand and moving it all around. Full mobility restored! Well, we were off to a good start with this church.
THEY PRAYED. GOD BACKED THEM UP!
Tuesday night was the teaching on the prayer model and how to recognize words of knowledge. When we went into clinic time to practice what we had just learned, we sent those praying for the ones who had responded to the words to the back, stacked chairs and the rest were to get in groups of 3 to 5 people. They are not used to praying for one another so many were just standing in groups of 5 holding hands. That is how they normally pray. After a couple of moments of
confusion, we had them praying for one another, and then the testimonies started flooding in. In fact we had to cut it off because we had so many testimonies and we needed to bring the meeting to a close so they could get some sleep before going to work the next day and still be fresh for the next night’s training. But what was so encouraging was to see these people, many of whom had never prayed for anyone before, praying like pros over their friends and getting results. God just loves to back us up if we will just step out!
LAST NIGHT, THE BLIND SEES!!
Wednesday night was freedom night, the teaching of the ministry of liberation. Carol somehow condenses her all day teaching to an hour and fifteen minutes (with translation) and then we go into ministry time. There is just no way to have them do deliverance like we normally do in the US, but Carol did lead them in a mass renouncing of the key areas where we see the most demonic oppression. Once again, many said something happened to them after this exercise. Perhaps most importantly, the apostolic leader of this church for 22+ years said we had given them some teaching that was good and challenging to the way they had learned to do deliverance. He would like to have us back to do several more days of teaching on just this subject.
We entered into our final time of ministry with this church. Once again we had them pray for the sick, while Carol and I prayed for the blind, deaf, and those with terminal conditions. I had one lady with a severe heart condition and much pain receive a lot of relief. She even looked different. The rest of the ones I got to pray for had very hard hearts, much
anger, bitterness and unforgiveness issues, and they were not healed. Even after Carol had given a great teaching about the importance of forgiveness, we both encountered several who were unwilling to forgive, and they unfortunately remained in bondage. But at the end, Carol prayed for a young woman who was legally blind. The power of God moved upon her immediately and down she went. After a while when she got up there was much tears and rejoicing as she could see clearly!!! It was a great ending to three days of meetings at this church. The church is moving into a new building on the 9th that will hold 2000+. They are now anxiously awaiting a meting with Randy on the 18th after the big gymnasium meeting.
Next we are off to do four days with a church that has a definite reputation here in Sao Paulo. In just 5 years, starting with just 20 people, they have grown to more than a thousand and are multiplying exponentially. It is primarily made up of young people, many of whom have tattoos and body piercings, which would not be acceptable in many Brazilian
churches. It is the hip church and known as the surfer church. They actually have a surfboard as the pulpit. We look forward to reporting from our meetings with this church. Blessings.
