THE REVELATION
They had a revelation. “They” are the first and second
year students of the Potters House School Of The
Supernatural, the ministry school of The Mission in
Vacaville. We, our pastor, other leaders and the 39
students have come to Fiji for meetings in district
churches, training sessions with the Fijian pastors
and leaders, and several healing Crusade meetings with
this large AG church our church has been in
relationship with since 1998. The students have heard
the stories of the blind seeing, the deaf hearing,
people coming out of wheelchairs, etc. From us and
others. It’s one thing to “hear” about it—to come into
agreement with the concept. It’s like they’ve been
saying “Yes, I believe it, I believe it happened to
you, I just haven’t seen it, it hasn’t happened thru
me.” The revelation was—it DOES happen now thru me!
ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD—AND IN THE HOSPITAL
We arrived on Monday AM and God started showing up
immediately. These are just a few of the many
testimonies we have received. We went to the park next
to the hotel at sunset to worship before going to
dinner, and encountered a team that was practicing
American football. They invited us to come pray for
them, to bless them. I don’t think they knew what was
in store for them. As we surrounded them and blessed
them, I began calling out words of knowledge and
praying over them. At least 10 got healed instantly.
We got to pray over them for the next few days and
heard later that several of them were amazed at the
healing, and they had never seen or experienced the
power of God before.
For the next three days, the students got to stay in
the homes of pastors and leaders who had agreed to
host them. They interacted in the villages, the
churches, and we went on outreaches to the prison and
to the hospital. Can you imagine this—it is a
government hospital, they wanted us to come in, and we
got to pray for everyone in the hospital!!
OUT OF THE WHEELCHAIR, BLIND EYE SEE, HEALINGS AND
PROPHECY
Healings happened immediately as the students prayed
on the streets, in homes, and in the small churches.
One woman had been confined to a wheelchair since
August, came out of it weeping and speaking in
tongues. Jeff prayed for someone in a church meeting
who was blind in one eye. After no more than a minute,
they could see! After some testing to make sure it was
real, Jeff was walking on air. We did a demonstration
of healing with one of the pastors during the training
session Friday morning. He had had knee pain for 10
years because of playing rugby. The look of surprise
on his face said it all, as the pain was gone. The
students prophesied over every pastor and spouse
during two days of training sessions. The pastors were
amazed at the accuracy of the words, the students
loved it as God spoke thru them, and they were able to
impart it to many of the leaders as they challenged
them to prophesy over the students. Spot on, as one
said!
BLIND—DEAF. DIDN’T MATTER TO THE STUDENTS
Kate was another who had the revelation. She got to
pray for a woman with “cloudy eyes” and after prayer
she could see clearly! Kathy B. prayed for a woman
deaf in the right ear. After breaking some
generational curses, it completely opened. When we
gave the words of knowledge in the large church
service Friday night, a wave suddenly swept over the
room, and more than a 100 were healed in an instant.
On Saturday afternoon, Matt, Jef, and Anna F. prayed
for a woman who had no feeling in her feet and
couldn’t walk. After less than a minute of prayer, she
stood up weeping, all the feeling back in her feet and
legs!
THE ENEMY TRIED TO RIP HER OFF
What the enemy meant for evil, God meant for good.
That played out for Ana F. She experienced culture
clash that brought fear and an intense desire to flee.
We got to be spiritual “mom and dad” to her and
ministered to her on the middle day. Something broke
in her, and in her situation. It was better, and Ana
stepped into what God had for her. On Saturday night
she prayed for a young boy of about 10, who couldn’t
hear out of one ear. She heard the Lord say “Just say,
in the name of Jesus, ear drum work!” He could
instantly hear. She didn’t believe it at first and
kept asking him to repeat what she would say to him.
She was beaming as she brought him up to testify. Then
she and some others prayed for a woman deaf in both
ears. We tested her on the platform and she could
repeat everything the pastor was whispering to her.
Then Ana went into a visitation, seeing Jesus and
heaven. It was a special time for her that words
wouldn’t do justice to try to describe.
“KISS HER ON THE EYELIDS”
We’ve got another Ana in the school, and she’s a
firecracker. Since being touched about a year and a
half ago, out of her Baptist roots, she’s been moving
in a strong healing and prophetic anointing. During
the ministry time at one of the smaller churches on
Sunday morning, she was praying for a woman who had
very poor eyesight. As it got gradually a little
better, she heard the Lord say, “Kiss her on the
eyelids.” Wow. Pretty heavy, especially when you’re in
a foreign culture that may not like that. But she was
obedient, asked if she could do that and kissed her
eyelids. When the woman opened her eyes she
immediately exclaimed “I can see” and she read a sign
on the other side of the room—one Ana couldn’t read!
Kinda goes back to the words of Mary, huh? “Just do
whatever He tells you to do.”
YOU’D BE PROUD, TOO
Well, the leaders of the school are walking around
like proud parents—which they really are. We are all
seeing these students blossom and grow right before
our eyes. They’ve endured storms, lightening, rain,
roaches, sometimes less than desirable living
conditions, heat and humidity, long bus rides, strange
foods—but they’ve ministered with enthusiasm, no
complaining, passion, humility, anointing and power.
And they’ve all gotten a “revelation.” The stories of
the bible, the stories we tell of today—it’s all real,
and it’s for them, here on a foreign soil and at home!
The students return home on Thursday. Wednesday the
10th Carol and I leave for New Zealand to start
meetings at Fusion Church in Auckland, and then
Saturday and Sunday at Palmerston North Christian
Fellowship in Palmerston North. We are excited about
these upcoming meetings, and will report on them
afterwards. Blessings.
